HRT Auto Shop Warranty Policy

At HRT Auto Shop, your satisfaction and confidence in our products matter most. That’s why we back our engines, transmissions, and OEM parts with a clear and reliable warranty. Please review our warranty terms carefully to understand coverage, limitations, and conditions.

General Warranty Coverage

We offer a 60-day warranty for all “A Grade TESTED OEM” parts, effective from the day of delivery. We understand shipments may experience slight delays due to high order volume or freightliner scheduling, so we allow 7–10 business days grace period before the warranty period begins.

In the event of a verified defect or damage, HRT Auto Shop will repair or replace the faulty product during the warranty period, subject to the conditions and limitations outlined below.

Please note: Warranty does not cover shipping costs, return freight charges, or labor expenses.

Engine Block Warranty

• Engines are sold as complete assemblies including: manifolds, oil pan, timing belts and covers, and fuel injection/carburetor systems.

• Coverage applies to the long block only.

• Items such as manifolds, gaskets, seals, hoses, oil pans, timing belts and covers, and fuel systems are not covered under this warranty.

• Orders of “Block Only” (Short or Long Block) are guaranteed to be rebuildable only.

Transmission Assembly Warranty

• All transmissions are guaranteed to shift properly with good gears and bearings.

• Before installation, the buyer must:

  • Thoroughly clean all components, including the oil pan.

  • Replace oil and filter in all automatic transmissions.

  • Replace all seals and gaskets.

  • Flush & flow-test cooler and lines.

  • Fully engage torque converter into the front pump.

• For manual transmissions, the following is required:

  • Install a new clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder.

  • Turn/resurface flywheel before installation.

  • Fill and check all fluids to ensure proper levels.

Failure to follow these steps will void the warranty.

Accessories Warranty

• Accessories such as turbos, starters, air compressors, alternators, power steering pumps, optical distributors, and electrical water pumps are not included nor covered under engine warranty.

• If purchased separately, these parts will carry their own individual warranty.

• Items considered high-wear parts such as water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs, wires, and timing chain are not covered under warranty.

Electrical Parts & Transfer Case Warranty

• Electrical items such as engine computers, body control modules, transmission modules, and transfer case modules carry a 30-day warranty from delivery.

• Warranty covers correct manufacturer part number and replacement only.

• Up to one replacement will be issued for a defective module.

• Some modules may require a dealer reset or reprogramming. Warranty claims cannot be accepted until the dealer confirms proper reset procedures.

• Modified electrical parts are not eligible for return or refund.

Doors & Seals Warranty

• Turbos: Seals in turbos are not guaranteed to be perfect and may require replacement.

• Doors: Doors are sold as complete assemblies but are not guaranteed to include windows, regulators, handles, hinges, or interior panels. Coverage applies only to the door shell.

Body Parts Warranty

• Body parts such as hoods, fenders, bumpers, quarter panels, and header panels are not guaranteed to include hinges, ornaments, latches, trim, headlights, or grilles.

• While specific color requests are considered, color matching is not guaranteed.

• We strongly recommend repainting body parts to ensure an exact match with your vehicle.

• Body parts cannot be returned due to mismatched paint or cosmetic differences.

Important Warranty Conditions

• Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

• Proper installation by a certified mechanic is required.

• Warranty is void if the part is altered, abused, misused, improperly installed, or damaged due to lack of proper maintenance.

• Shipping costs, installation labor, and incidental damages are not covered under warranty.
